Arztpraxis Dr. Bucar

Three homepage concepts for a holistic medical practice with a TCM focus — from warm editorial to clinical editorial.

01Work made visible

The differences become directly comparable.

The sprint is not presented as a finished practice website. What is visible is the actual decision work: three browser-based directions built around different criteria.

The differences become directly comparable.

Curth Calm

Warm and editorial

Calm, readability, and a human tone build trust.

Decision basis · concept phase

02From the visible request to the actual job

Trust, medical accessibility, and privacy had to converge in one informed design decision.

Initial request

A modern digital presence for a holistic medical practice.

Discovered in the project

Trust, medical accessibility, and privacy had to converge in one informed design decision.

03Context

Why the situation required more than a new interface.

The existing site no longer matched the standard of a modern, holistic practice. At the same time, healthcare carries special requirements for trust, accessibility, and privacy.

The challenge

A modern digital presence for a holistic medical practice.

04Decision

What became tangible and ready for a decision.

The solution

Trust, medical accessibility, and privacy had to converge in one informed design decision.

We migrated the content of 13 existing pages into structured modules and developed three completely different design directions: "Curth Calm" (warm editorial), "Alpine Meridian" (TCM editorial with a bento grid), and "Pulse Editorial" (clinical, with pulse-line interactions). All three experienceable live in the browser, with a concept picker.

05Delivered

Concrete outcomes instead of abstract promises.

  1. Three clickable design directions instead of a single draft

  2. A decision basis in the browser, not in a PDF

  3. A GDPR-conscious, maintainable base for the production build

06Constraints

Technology and privacy serve the outcome.

Privacy & accessibility

Self-hosted fonts instead of a Google Fonts CDN, legal page scaffolding (imprint, privacy), WCAG-oriented contrast and keyboard navigation — not optional in a healthcare context.
